No matter what your business environment requires from its materials handling equipment, TASK FORKLIFTS has a variety of non-standard features available through the OSKO FORKLIFTS manufacturing plant, that will enable you to perform all your lifting tasks with safety & ease.
The Adelaide factory employs a technical design team and has the complete engineering and manufacturing capabilities based here in Australia to ensure we lead the way for all non-standard builds in the Australian forklift industry. In particular, our Flameproof and 4-Directional models are extremely effective and highly regarded by the forklift industry.
EXAMPLES OF NON-STANDARD OPTIONS AVAILABLE:
HIGH GROUND CLEARANCE
Unit can be manufactured with extra ground clearance to provide operating clearance when working in applications involving ramps, bunds and other variations in floor level.
FOUR-DIRECTIONAL
The PYTHON Heavy Duty Stacker and the VIPER Heavy Duty Reach Stacker can be manufactured with 4-directional capabilities, allowing the unit to be driven sideways along racking aisles. This is particularly beneficial when stacking lengthy loads.
FLAMEPROOFING
OSKO Forklifts can supply a range of trucks that meet Australian Standard requirements for Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas.
SPECIAL LIFT HEIGHT
Trucks can be manufactured with special lift heights to suit particular customer needs, eg 3.3m mast when the collapsed height of a 3.5m mast is too high.
EXTRA HYDRAULIC SERVICE
OSKO can manufacture trucks with extra hydraulic service built into the design eg the hoses can be routed over the masts to eliminate the need for bulky hose reels.
SPECIAL HEIGHT LOAD BACK REST
The load back rest can be made to suit differing needs eg
- reduced height to decrease the extended height when working in areas with restricted overhead clearances
- increased height to provide extra support for high loads
WIDE CARRIAGE & LOAD BACK REST
Wide carriages with matching load back rests can be offered for applications where wide loads are being lifted and require extra support.
NARROW STRADDLES ON EDGE
Stackers can be built with narrow straddle legs (50mm wide) to allow 2 pallets to be placed in narrow racking bays. These units are fitted with tandem wheels.
OFF-STANDARD STRADDLE
Special straddle legs can be fitted to suit variety of situations including reduced height to top of straddle to enable clearance under bottom rail of racking.
SPECIAL STRADDLE WIDTH
The straddle width can be varied to customer requirements, eg 1150mm OD straddles to allow drive through the racking.
SIDE SHIFT
OSKO can manufacture trucks with side shift option to order, ensuring no de-ration of the official rated capacity. Most competitors can only fit side shift to standard trucks, resulting in significantly reduced load capacity.
TANDEM WHEELS
Tandem wheels can be fitted to handle rough flooring, without increasing the straddle height.
LARGER LOAD WHEELS
Large diameter load wheels can be fitted to accommodate rough floor environments.
